Jacqueline “Jackie” Kay Cox, 82, of Farnam, Nebraska, passed away April 5, 2024, at Centennial Park Retirement Village. She was born August 20, 1941 to Gale and Irene (Bakler) Richardson in North Platte, Nebraska.

Jackie graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1959. She married Jerald Cox on June 14, 1959, in Maywood. The couple lived in North Platte and she worked for Central Nebraska Pack, then later for Cement Products in the office. Jackie worked at the newspaper in Newcastle, Wyoming.

Jackie liked to play slot machines in Deadwood, South Dakota. Family was the center of her life, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include husband, Jerald “Jerry” Cox of Farnam; son, Jerry (Teresa) Cox of Gothenburg, Nebraska; grandchildren, Jessica (Dan Pandorf) Klein of Arnold, Nebraska, Linda (Bryce) Masterson of Deer Park, Washington, Jon (Sophia) Klein of North Platte, Jerry (Danielle) Cox of Henderson, Nebraska; great-grandchildren, Dayden, Zeke, Blayze, Jayden, Carmella, Margo, Cora, Leah; sister-in-law, Wanda Cart of North Platte; numerous other family members; and many friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Gale and Irene; brothers, John Cart and Gary Cart.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 26, at Farnam Methodist Church with Pastor Dynette Oberg officiating. Those wishing to sign the book may do so 9 to 4, Thursday, April 25, at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
