Bryan Colvard
I am asking for your continued support for Weston County Sheriff. I have served in Wyoming Law Enforcement for over 20 years, and I have done so with honesty, integrity and respect for the people I serve. Over the past eight years as your sheriff, we have worked hard to streamline our spending while providing the best possible service we can.
As sheriff I have identified and utilized both resources outside and within our county to more effectively serve our citizens. In the next term, if elected, I want to continue streamlining our operation. With the recent loss of the state’s livestock investigators, I will develop training for our deputies and cooperation with surrounding counties to investigate livestock crimes. I am working on upgraded and integrated technology to allow our deputies to do more of the required reporting and paperwork in the field versus driving back to Newcastle to do their paperwork. This will allow them to spend a more significant amount of time out in the county serving our citizens. We will work closely with the prosecuting attorney to develop a strong information and communication flow to allow for better criminal case disposition.
I have truly enjoyed serving our citizens and appreciate the continued support. Thank you.
