Rachel Blumenthal
My name is Rachel Blumenthal and I am running for a seat on the WCSD #1 School Board.
My passion for our schools and dedication to guide our children are the reasons I am running for the School Board of WCSD #1. My ultimate goal in becoming a school board member is to serve the students, parents, school staff, and community. I want to work together as part of a team with the teachers and staff within the school to seek new ideas and programs. The focus must remain on our children and what can be done to improve the school environment so each individual can achieve their goals. I’m excited to expand my volunteer time and skills by serving on the school board.
As a member of the school board I feel I can bring fresh ideas and a positive attitude to the meetings. I want to hear the concerns of parents, teachers, staff, and students and bring those issues before the board. I am looking forward to helping find solutions to any problems that arise. With having two children in the school, I have a front row seat to what our children face in their school years. Our schools need to be a place where each individual can gain knowledge and feel safe in the process. I am committed to investing my time and energy into helping our school system thrive.
