It’s the original social media! The Weston County Library, with locations in Newcastle and in Upton, offer more than just free reading materials — although that’s the best part!

Whether you are looking for the latest magazine, researching history, or are looking for some quiet activities for the kids, the library is your place to go.

At the library you can check out a new author, get inspired, or tap into the free wi-fi to work, do homework, or do research. The world is at your fingertips at your local library, and the friendly staff can help you find what you are looking for. Interested in a book that’s not on the shelves? We can order one in from another library!

The Weston County Library has been a gathering place since 1911, and continues to be, with various organizations using the convenient meeting rooms. The library also regularly hosts local artists, authors, and performers.

So, when you are ready for a ‘digital detox,’ come on over to the library, pull up a chair, relax, and let the stories take you away.
