Pulpit of Shame

In the pulpit he stands,
seeking wealth and fame,
Not from a calling, but for fortune’s gain.
Lazy to toil, he dons the preacher’s name,
Empty words echo, devoid of spiritual flame.
True ministry's essence, tarnished for greed’s acclaim,
A sacred trust betrayed, for profit's shame.
