Pokes in the Pros: Week 6
LARAMIE, Wyoming (10/15/24) – After a couple bumpy weeks, Josh Allen and Buffalo got back on track in Week 6. The former University of Wyoming quarterback did it with his arm and his legs on Monday Night Football, passing 19-for-25 for 215 yards and two scores and running it nine times for 18 yards and another score.
Simply put, the Bills go as Allen goes. Aside from the Miami game, where Tua Tagovailoa got hurt, Buffalo is winless when Allen throws for less than 200 yards in a game. They’re 4-0 when he reaches that threshold.
For the season, Allen is 98-for-156 for 1,160 yards and 10 touchdowns with zero interceptions. He’s chipped in 178 yards on 35 carries with three scores for the 4-2 Bills. They host Tennessee in Week 7.

Logan Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals
Wilson paced the Bengals’ defense in the team’s 17-7 win at the New York Giants. He racked up a team-high nine tackles.
For the season, Wilson boasts 61 tackles, one tackle for loss, one forced fumble and one quarterback hit for 2-4 Cincinnati. His number of tackles ranks second in the league.
The Bengals travel to Cleveland in Week 7.
Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints
Granderson had a mild game in the Saints’ 51-27 loss to Tampa Bay. He registered a pair of tackles.
For the season, Granderson owns 24 tackles, once forced fumble and four quarterback hits for 2-4 New Orleans.
The Saints host Denver on Thursday Night Football.
Chad Muma, Jacksonville Jaguars
Muma had a solid game in the Jaguars’ 35-16 loss to Chicago in London. He made four tackles.
For the season, Muma has recorded 27 tackles for 1-5 Jacksonville.
The Jaguars battle New England in London in Week 7.
Frank Crum, Denver Broncos
Crum was active in the Broncos’ 23-16 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The majority of Crum’s snaps, 77 percent, that he’s receiving are occurring on special teams for 3-3 Denver.
The Broncos travel to New Orleans for Thursday Night Football.
Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars
Wingard did not play due to an injury in Jacksonville’s 35-16 loss to Chicago on Sunday in London. He has yet to play this season.
Tashaun Gipson, Jacksonville Jaguars
Gipson did not play due to a suspension in Jacksonville’s 35-16 loss to Chicago on Sunday in London. He has yet to play this season.
Gipson is in London and eligible to play in the Jaguars’ game against New England in London in Week 7.
Treyton Welch, New Orleans Saints
Welch is currently participating on the Saints’ practice squad. He has yet to be elevated this season.
Marcus Epps, Las Vegas Raiders
Epps’ season came to an end in Week 3. He tore his ACL after a 10-tackle effort. Epps finished the season with 19 tackles and one tackle for loss.
