Keep the feel-good feeling

It is a lot of fun making the newspaper during the holidays because we make a commitment every year to run almost exclusively positive stories for the Christmas and New Year’s editions, and put off sharing negative (or heavy) news — if at all possible — until the revelry is over.

Unfortunately, we can’t hide forever from our responsibility to share serious information with the community and provide you with the knowledge you need to be an engaged and informed citizenry, and there are plenty of serious issues looming for the boards that are welcoming new members and electing leadership in these weeks.

But we have just as much of a responsibility to promote this community and provide positive encouragement to Weston County, and the best way we can do that is by sharing the good news being produced by the good people of Newcastle and Upton and everywhere in between.

Because of our growing digital presence, we can share that good news in more ways than we ever have before — from our website and YouTube Channel to our Facebook Page and this newsletter — and we are excited to put Weston County’s best foot forward to an ever-growing audience across Wyoming, the nation and even the world!
