Christ invites us to understand the mysteries of His Kingdom and how seeking Him leads to deeper wisdom and greater understanding of God's purposes.

It’s an awe-inspiring thought that God wants us to know Him. But let me be clear—when I say "know Him," I’m not talking about understanding everything about His infinite nature. We can never fully comprehend God. His wisdom, His character, His vastness—these things will always be beyond our full grasp. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us that "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," declares the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts." But that doesn’t mean He hasn’t made His Kingdom knowable.

God does want us to know the mysteries of His Kingdom. Matthew 13:11 says, "To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted." This is not the same as knowing everything about God. Christ is inviting us into a deeper understanding of His Kingdom, revealing truths to those who earnestly seek Him.

This distinction is important. Some might argue, "You can’t know everything about God, so why even try?" And you're right—we can't. But God promises that He will reveal His Kingdom to us if we seek Him. That invitation is the opportunity to learn, grow, and step into the mysteries of what He’s doing in the world and how He wants us to be part of it.

And here's the good news: James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." This is a promise that God is eager to reveal His wisdom to us. He’s not trying to keep us in the dark, but He does want us to actively seek the understanding He offers. The question is: Are we really asking for wisdom? Are we pursuing the deeper knowledge He’s willing to give us, or are we content with just scratching the surface?

God isn’t hiding His wisdom from us—He’s inviting us to ask. Jeremiah 33:3 encourages us, "Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know." It’s a powerful promise. When we call out to God, He will answer and reveal things to us that we don’t yet know. But the key is in the calling. If we never ask, we’ll never hear the answer.

The treasure of God's wisdom is waiting for those who are willing to seek it out. Colossians 2:2-3 reminds us that in Christ are "hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." The treasure is there, hidden in Christ, waiting to be uncovered by those who earnestly seek Him. This is the heart of the journey—knowing what God has revealed about His Kingdom, His purposes, and His plans for us. We won’t know it all, but we can know enough to live faithfully and walk with Him in greater understanding.

God is not a mystery meant to remain locked away. He has chosen to reveal the deep truths of His Kingdom to His followers. The invitation is real. It’s not about comprehending all of God, but about discovering the mysteries He wants to reveal to us, one step at a time.

If you feel like you’ve been standing on the edge of the journey, feeling hesitant or unsure if it's even worth stepping into, know this: God is waiting to show you what He wants you to understand. The Kingdom is knowable, the mysteries are yours to uncover. Don’t let fear of not knowing everything stop you from starting the journey. Take that first step. Seek, ask, and trust that God will reveal to you exactly what you need. __________________________________________________________________________
