The News Letter Journal reviewed the minutes of each of these four governing bodies' 2024 meetings to determine which were the most common reasons boards chose to enter executive session and which board members most commonly motioned to enter executive session. The three most frequently stated reasons and board members for each board for the year are listed here. In some cases, the boards entered executive sessions for multiple reasons.

We will continue to track the use of executive sessions by local governments through 2025.
