SAN DIEGO, Calif. (March 28, 2024) – It was a rough day on the courts for the Wyoming Cowgirl tennis team Thursday afternoon on the road. San Diego State topped the Cowgirls, 4-0 in conference action.

Wyoming was leading 4-2 in the first spot in doubles, the clinching match, but the Aztecs were able to rally for a 7-5 win to take the doubles point. UW also lost at the No. 2 position.

In singles, the Cowgirls were leading in the second set of the No. 4, 5 and 6 singles spots Thursday, before SDSU was able to clinch the match with its third singles victory. Wyoming will close the week and looks to bounce back Saturday morning at UNLV.
