Cheyenne is in session
The Wyoming State Legislature is off and running, but you have many ways to catch and keep up.
Chances are that people around Weston County (and most of Wyoming) are generally too busy to care much about what is happening in Cheyenne — or anywhere else for that matter.
But for a month or two every winter the legislature is in session, and it is a good time for all of us to pay a little more attention to what is going on in the capital city. Thanks to our membership in the Wyoming News Exchange, we collectively offer
comprehensive coverage of the legislature’s actions from the NLJ and the state’s other top news outlets in the Wyoming News section of newslj.com.
You can also go directly to the source and keep tabs on our lawmakers on their website, wyoleg.gov. There, you can track bills, contact legislators and keep up to date on everything happening at the capitol in real time.
If watching the session or committee meetings seems more your pace, don’t forget to check out the Wyoming Legislature YouTube channel for live feeds and recorded meetings.
