God’s love is beyond human understanding. It is patient, kind, and never failing. His love shapes every aspect of our lives, guiding us, strengthening us, and drawing us closer to Him. When we recognize His love, we can trust in His goodness and faithfulness, no matter what we face. Here are just a few ways God shows His love for us.

  1. He is slow to lose patience with me. (2 Peter 3:9)
  2. He takes the circumstances of my life and uses them in a constructive way for my growth. (Romans 8:28)
  3. He doesn't treat me like an object to be possessed and manipulated. (John 15:15)
  4. He has no need to impress me with how great and powerful He is because He is God. (Psalm 46:10)
  5. He does not belittle me as a child to show how important He is. (Matthew 18:3-4)
  6. He is for me, He wants to see me mature and develop in His will. (Jeremiah 29:11)
  7. He doesn't send down His wrath on every little mistake I make, of which there are many. (Psalm 103:8-10)
  8. He doesn't keep track of my sins and then beat me over the head with them whenever He gets a chance. (Hebrews 8:12)
  9. He rejoices when I experience His power and strength, and when I stand up under the pressures of life for His name's sake. (James 1:12)
  10. He keeps on working patiently with me even when I feel like giving up and I can't see why He doesn't give up on me. (Philippians 1:6)
  11. He keeps on trusting me when at times I don't even trust myself. (2 Timothy 2:13)
  12. He never says there is no hope for me, rather He patiently works with me, loves and disciplines me in such a way to help me understand the depth of His concern for me. (Hebrews 12:6)
  13. He will never forsake me, even though my friends might. (Deuteronomy 31:8)
  14. He stands with me when I have reached the rock bottom of despair. (Psalm 34:18)
  15. When I see the real me and compare that with His righteousness, holiness, beauty, and love, it's at that moment that I can really believe that God loves me. (Isaiah 6:5, Romans 5:8)
  16. The greatest of all gifts is God's love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

1 John 4:19"We love, because He first loved us."
