God has equipped every believer with divine power, but it’s not just for us to hold onto—it’s for us to use, to live out His purpose, and to impact the world around us. When we understand that the power of God is in us, we’re called to step out in faith and act on it.

Everything we need for life and godliness is already given to us. "His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence." (2 Peter 1:3) God has already given us what we need to live out His purposes. It’s through knowing Christ that we receive the strength and ability to do His will.

We’re not called to rely on our own strength but to be strong in God’s power. "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might." (Ephesians 6:10) God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. When we recognize that our power is limited, we can turn to His limitless power. By doing this, we’re prepared to stand firm and fulfill God’s purpose in our lives.

Faith must be active. "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:17) Faith is more than believing in God’s power; it’s actively living it out. This means stepping out and doing the work God has called us to do. Faith is alive when we’re walking in the power He’s given us, making a difference in the world through His strength.

When we step out in faith, we can trust that God’s power isn’t just enough for the task—it’s abundant. "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us." (Ephesians 3:20) This should encourage us to dream big for God, knowing that He will provide the strength and resources to carry out His purpose.

Jesus modeled the life we’re called to live. "Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I am going to the Father." (John 14:12) The same power He walked in is available to us. Through the Holy Spirit, we can do the works Jesus did—and even greater works. This is the same power that raised Him from the dead, and it’s within every believer.

To grab hold of God's power, we first need to believe that it’s already within us. We’re not waiting for God to give us something more; we’re called to activate the power that’s already available through the Holy Spirit. When we trust in His strength, step out in faith, and take action, we will see God do incredible things through our lives—things far greater than we can imagine.
