Wyoming PBS sets debate schedule for 2026 general election
CHEYENNE (WNE) — Wyoming PBS will host its 2026 general election debates Oct. 14-15 at the Riverton High School Auditorium.
The debate schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, Oct. 14
. 7 p.m. — Gubernatorial debate
. 8 p.m. — Secretary of state debate
Thursday, Oct. 15
. 7 p.m. — U.S. House of Representatives debate
. 8 p.m. — State superintendent of public instruction debate
Debates featuring more than two candidates will be one hour long. Debates featuring two candidates will be 30 minutes.
The debates will be moderated by Steve Peck of Wyoming PBS and will feature panelists from Cowboy State Daily and Wyoming Public Media.
The debates, held at Riverton High School Auditorium, will be open to the public and broadcast live on Wyoming PBS. They will also be streamed live on the Wyoming PBS YouTube channel.
Because only one of the two candidates for the U.S. Senate seat responded to the invitation, Wyoming PBS will not host a U.S. Senate debate.
The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
