Wyoming to Host Border War Meet and Honor Seniors This Weekend

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Oct. 30, 2025) – The University of Wyoming swim and dive program will host two meets when the women compete against Colorado State in the Border War Meet, Friday, and both teams take on Colorado School of Mines and Northern Colorado in a senior recognition meet, Saturday, at Laramie High School.
Friday will begin at 4 p.m., and action on Saturday will begin at 11 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Wyoming traveled to Green River, Wyo., to take on Utah last weekend. In the dual, the Cowgirls throttled Utah, 172-128, while the Cowboys dropped the dual, 196-104.
Cowgirls were led by junior Tara Joyce and her four first-place finishes. She won the 100- and 200-yard Freestyle and raced in the 200-yard Medley Relay and 400-yard Freestyle Relay.
Sophomore Macey Hansen also won both of her events, taking first in the 500- and 1,000-yard Freestyle.
Senior Alicia Gonzalez swept the diving events at the meet, scoring 260.40 points in the 2-meter dive and 238.65 points in the 1-meter dive.
On the men’s side, sophomore Isaac Lee won the 1,000-yard Freestyle.
Junior Simon Casey raced in the second-place 400-yard Freestyle Relay that took second after winning the 200-yard Backstroke.
Sophomore Jonah Mann won in the 1-meter dive with 260.78 points.
