Wyoming Hits the Road to Open 2026 at Potts Invitational

BOULDER, Colo. (Jan. 15, 2026) – The Pokes will compete in their first full road meet of the season when they head south to Colorado for the Potts Invitational, Friday and Saturday, in Boulder, Colo. Action on Friday will be all field events with track prelims and finals on Saturday.

Wyoming will face competition from eight schools across men’s and women’s events: Air Force, Colorado, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State, CSU Pueblo, MSU Denver, Regis and UCCS. Mines will only be represented by a men’s team while Regis will only be women. Pokes will take on some familiar faces, having seen Air Force and Colorado State at the Power Meet to close 2025.

 

LAST TIME OUT

Wyoming hosted the Power Meet at the end of the fall semester and posted six Top 10 program times and set 10 personal bests while action at the BU Season Opener was highlighted by seniors Jacob White and Ryker Holtzen breaking the indoor 5,000-meter school record.
