Sundance, Wyo – The Wyoming Department of Transportation awarded Cheyenne-based Reiman Corp. a $1.19 million damage repair contract to repair a bridge on I-90 at Exit 205/Beulah, Wyoming.

In 2023, a truck exceeding the minimum height restrictions struck the underside of the bridge when passing under it damaging several girders of the westbound lanes. The scheduled repairs will result in several detours and lane closures at this location.

The contractor anticipates setting up traffic control the week of March 17, 2025; weather permitting, work will begin on March 24, 2025. This work is contracted to be completed within 60 days after lane closures are in effect.

Closures will include the northbound lane of the interchange bridge and the westbound lanes of I-90 between the on and off-ramps at Exit 205.

Beginning the week of March 24, the northbound lane/Sand Creek Road over the Beulah Interchange Bridge will be closed for this work. Northbound traffic will be shifted to the southbound lane.  This will allow northbound traffic access to I-90 West Bound and US14 frontage road over the bridge.

Traffic wanting to go southbound over the bridge will be detoured to Exit 199 (Aladdin Interchange) onto the interstate and then to Exit 205.

I-90 eastbound interstate traffic will be shifted to the travel lane, closing the passing lane to allow for construction under the bridge.

The I-90 On and Off Ramps at Exit 205 will remain open.

WYDOT reminds the traveling public to obey all posted speed limits and traffic directives in work zones.
