Wrestlers Compete at 2025 U.S. Open

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (4/28/25) – The University of Wyoming team had a decent-sized contingent at the 2025 U.S. Open over the weekend. Six Cowboys and one incomer competed in a tournament held at The Expo at World Market Center from Thursday-Sunday.

Incoming freshman Lane Foard (86 kg) headlined the event for Wyoming. He placed fifth in the U20 freestyle competition. Below are a list of all the Cowboys and how they performed in Vegas.

86 kg: Lane Foard (7-2) – 5th

First Round: Foard technical fall Amare Overton (SIU-Edwardsville), 11-0
