Workplace benefits up in county

People working in Weston County have pretty good access to workplace benefits in Wyoming, according to a recent study from Smart Asset. 
 “The new study from the New York financial technology company measured the unemployment rate and cost of living in each county as well as the percentage of the population securing health insurance and retirement funds through their employer,” the report says. 
The study lists the county’s unemployment rate at 2.2%, health insurance coverage at 43.05%, cost of living at 58.64% and retirement and savings contribution at 51.24%. When all the data is compiled, Weston County ranks sixth in the state with a score of 58.02 in the best places for employee benefits index. 
Other Wyoming counties breaking the top 10 are Sublette in first with a score of 71.61, Teton in second with a score of 68.06, Crook in third with a score of 65.43, Campbell in fourth with a score of 65.31, Park in fifth with a score of 59.19, Sweetwater in seventh with a score of 57.57, Converse in eighth with a score of 57.24, Laramie in ninth with a score of 55.09 and Lincoln County in 10 with a score of 54.03.
