Who are you thankful for?

Thanksgiving time is here and when you find yourself sitting around this week, thinking about who and what you have to be thankful for, keep the News Letter Journal in mind. As the holidays approach we are nearing our annual Person of the Year edition and would love to hear who you are thankful for in this community. 
Who has gone out of their way this year to make someone else’s life easier? Who has stepped up and made sure that we didn’t lose a local organization or event? Who has done something to make other people happy or improve the environment within the community?
We want to know. 
So, when you gather around the table and visit with your family, thanking and thinking of those who made your life a little better this year, don’t forget to include the News Letter Journal in on your thoughts. Submissions can be hand delivered to our office or sent by email to editor@newslj.com. 
We encourage all of you to send us your recommendations for the Person of the Year and to include why this person deserves to be recognized within the community!
We look forward to hearing what all of you are thankful for and we want you to know that here at the News Letter Journal, we have many things to be thankful for. Two of the top things on our list though are our readers and our advertisers.
