A Weston County welcome
The News Letter Journal was proud to roll out the annual Weston County Welcome Guide last month, and we’re excited that so many local businesses and organizations are poised to greet the legion of travelers who will be visiting Wyoming this summer.
Many of these visitors will be planning to cruise on through, and will miss out on a lot of the great things this county has to offer, so we want to encourage our readers to share the online version of the Welcome Guide to help motivate a few more of them to pull over for a couple of hours and discover what a hidden gem our part of the world really is.
Sharing the Weston County Welcome Guide with even one person traveling to the area this summer could make the world of difference in their travel plans. We are confident that information included in the guide will lead to travelers visiting Newcastle along the way.
We often hear people question what they can do to support the community, and sharing the guide is it! This product is produced annually as a labor of love in conjunction with the Weston County Travel Commission and local businesses.
The Welcome Guide will also be a great promotional tool for the community for the big events on our summer calendar — from the summer drag event to the All-School Reunion — and we hope that organizers of both events will share the online version early and often to help people plan their trips! These guides are printed and placed in hotels and businesses throughout Weston County, to encourage those already visiting to stay a while — or come back again!
The content and advertisements in the online version of the Welcome Guide is linked to business and organization websites, where even more great information about our community can be found, so it is a fantastic resource for anybody who intends to cross our borders
this year.
We are excited to see what these events and tourist season will bring to Weston County, and hope the public will do their part to promote everything the county has to offer.
