United Fund pie auction to be held Monday

The United Fund will hold a pie and baked-goods auction on Monday, Nov. 25. The sale will be held at the Weston County Senior Center in the Michael’s Room from 8 a.m. until the items are gone. KASL will be on the air with a live broadcast and participate in the auction starting at 9 a.m.
The auction has been going on every year for many years. Formerly held in the KASL studio, it grew and grew each year until it was apparent that a larger facility was needed. Then it was moved to the senior center.
The proceeds are kept in Weston County and are used to help fund the needs of several 501(c)3 organizations. 
Items for the auction can be brought to the senior center starting at 7 a.m. the day of the auction. Donors can designate which organization is to receive the money their item brings.
