GILLETTE (WNE) - Two teenagers involved in a pair of home invasions in mid-November have agreed to plead guilty, and one of the teens faces a relatively lengthy prison sentence.

Jordan Turner, 17, and Joshua Aguilar, 18, both agreed to plead guilty to the charges against them. The two were arrested late last year after a Sheriff’s Office investigation revealed they broke into two homes in mid-November and assaulted several other teenagers.

While Aguilar’s plea deal has him avoiding prison time, Turner could be looking at a sentence of at least 10 years.

Turner is charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, three counts of aggravated assault and three counts of breach of peace.

Turner, who’s being charged as an adult, will plead guilty to all eight charges — five felonies and three misdemeanors — and in exchange, the state will recommend 10 to 15 years in prison. Turner is allowed to argue for a lesser sentence, including the Youthful Offender Transition Program.

Turner had been set to go to trial in April, but that won’t be necessary, given his guilty pleas.

And Aguilar pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary, amended from conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary, and four misdemeanor counts of battery. As part of his plea deal, he also agreed to testify for the state in its prosecution of Turner.

In exchange for his guilty plea, the state will dismiss a count of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and recommend a deferred sentence and three years of supervised probation.

Another teen, Andrew Tilton, 18, has been charged with intimidating a witness after allegedly threatening Aguilar for “being a snitch” outside Club Energize last month. Tilton waived his preliminary hearing Feb. 14 and was bound over to District Court on this charge.
