Last weekend, Wyoming distance runners participated in the Stanford Invite in Stanford, Calif., and two Cowboys came home with a school record. Junior Ryker Holtzen broke the 3,000-meter Steeplechase record with a time of 8:35.70 for fifth place overall at the meet. Junior Jacob White broke the school 5,000-meter record with his time of 13:37.77, a personal best by nearly 10 seconds.

On the women’s side, senior Abigail Whitman took first in her section of the 3,0000-meter Steeplechase with a personal-best time of 10:24.48. This time moved her to No. 4 in program history.
