Thanks for the memories
To the Editor, 
I always enjoy reading the various sections of the News Letter Journal, but my all time favorite is Recapture. It is so interesting to read of day-to-day life in years past, especially when a familiar name comes up. 
In the June 18 issue, 100 year section, was a short
sentence about my uncle, Chuck Cattles, going fishing. Just to think of that old guy who was never seen in anything but his work bib overalls doing anything just for fun made me realize there was a younger Uncle Chuck I never knew. 
I sent the paper to his only grandchild that lives in Texas. 
I also wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed that fabulous shot of the lightning bolt which appeared on the front page of the July 9 paper. The shot was incredible, just as the strike hit. What a wonderful mix of colors! Thank you.
