On May 19, the Weston County Library was the location of a candidate training session, organized by Kari Drost. About 30 people filled the library’s conference room to listen to Corey Steinmetz, national committeeman of the Republican Party, while he took them through a PowerPoint presentation giving them the nuts and bolts about how to run for public office.
