FORT COLLINS, Colorado (10/31/24) – The University of Wyoming soccer team finished up its 2024 season with a draw. The Cowgirls tied Colorado State, 0-0, at CSU Soccer Stadium, and the final will not be enough to push Wyoming into the Mountain West Conference Tournament.

The result gives Wyoming a record of 4-6-9 overall and 2-3-6 (12 points) in league action. The Rams move to 11-4-4 overall and 7-1-3 (24 points) in conference competition. Colorado State advances to play in the Mountain West Tournament, which gets underway Sunday in San Diego, California.

The contest was a pretty level one, as the final result showed. Colorado State held a slight 20-15 edge in shots and a 9-6 lead in shots on target.

Alyssa Bedard paced the Cowgirls with five shots. Maddi Chance, Reese Gould and Kiley Ballek each had two shots to their name.

Haley Bartel logged her program-best ninth shutout of the season. She made a season-high nine saves to accomplish that feat.
