So Sayeth the Source
There are plenty of opinions making their way around social media about what the legislature is — and is not — doing in Cheyenne this month, and we want to help raise the level of that discourse by letting all of our readers hear the opinions of the legislators straight from the source.
Thanks to modern technology, more Wyoming lawmakers than ever are sharing their views on the important legislation they’re debating, and we are pleased to publish all of the submissions we receive from legislators and other state officials on our website. You can read these press releases and op/eds for free under the Opinion Tab on newslj.com.
And that isn’t all, our website allows us to share far more information about the legislative session than we ever could in the weekly print edition of the News Letter Journal, and we hope that you are taking advantage of the opportunity to become more knowledgeable citizens and voters.
News Editor Alexis Barker and our other reporters continue to provide in-depth coverage of our local legislators and the issues that matter most to Weston County, but newslj.com subscribers also have full access to stories published by the state’s other top newspapers on our Wyoming News tab. We believe our border-to-border coverage of the Wyoming State Legislature is now enhanced even more by our ability to share the viewpoints of respective legislators from across Wyoming.
We hope the early interest we’ve seen in the legislative process will continue, and that readers will use the information we make available each week to provide their elected representatives with the feedback and input they need for our system of government to truly work For the People.
