So far so good
From what we have seen, the attendance and support for this year’s Weston County Fair has been phenomenal. Despite the potential risks associated with large gatherings, fair and rodeo lovers from not only Weston County but across several states have flocked to the fairgrounds to take part in what has been offered.
From the parade Saturday morning to the truck pulls that night, the massive amount of support shown for those who go above and beyond to plan these events has been evident.
On Sunday and Monday, trailers, horses and people of all ages
scurried about the grounds during the open horse shows.
Monday evening brought cowboys and cowgirls from as far away as Arizona and North Dakota for the first annual Weston County Mini Roughstock Rodeo.
Although the 2020 Weston County Fair will already be half over at the time of this publication, there is still plenty of excitement to be enjoyed. From the static exhibits at the Weston County Events Center to the youth livestock sale on Friday and Jr. Rodeo this weekend, there is still plenty of opportunity to get out and support those who put in all the hard work to make fair successful every year.
But don’t fret, if you are unable to make it down to the fairgrounds, the News Letter Journal will share plenty of photos and results from all of the events on our website and in upcoming editions.
