Simpson service scheduled Monday in Cody

POWELL (WNE) — Sen. Alan Simpson, who died March 14 at the age of 93 in Cody, is being honored across the state and, in Cody, services begin Monday with a 10 a.m. memorial service at Christ Episcopal Church.
Wyoming PBS will broadcast the memorial service.
The service can be viewed live via this YouTube link: youtube.com/live/ y1SKLTDpBso.
The Simpson family has sent out invitations for and/or spoken to guests who will attend the church ceremony.
Due to limited seating at Christ Episcopal Church, the Simpson family asks those without invitations to view the service at Wynona Thompson Auditorium (1225 10th St.), where a live feed of the service will be broadcast.
While the Buffalo Bill Center of the West will show the service in the Coe Auditorium, seating is extremely limited, and people are encouraged to attend the larger-capacity Wynona Thompson Auditorium instead.
All are invited to an open house reception from noon to 2 p.m. at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West (720 Sheridan Ave.). The Center will be closed to the general visiting public on March 31, but will be open during reception hours for anyone wishing to attend and pay their respects to the Simpson family.
