SHERIDAN (WNE) — Jade Roundstone, 31, was arrested Sunday evening after entering a home she allegedly did not have permission to enter and threatening to stab an occupant there with a knife. Roundstone is being charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of unlawful entry.

Both crimes are felonies, punishable by imprisonment for a maximum of 10 years, a fine of $10,000 or both.

Bond for Roundstone was set at $15,000 cash only.

This is Roundstone’s second aggravated assault charge in less than a year.

On May 17, 2024, Roundstone threatened several individuals with a knife.

She told law enforcement she and two other individuals were having a twerking contest. She said one of the individuals got upset when she won; Roundstone alleged the other person became confrontational and attacked her, punching her in the face and grabbing her hair.

Roundstone had no observable injuries and denied ever using a knife. She was reportedly intoxicated and had difficulty describing the events that took place.

According to the other two individuals, Roundstone became angry after the twerking contest and proceeded to grab a knife from the kitchen. She charged two victims with the knife, threatening to stab them. The two were able to restrain Roundstone and take the knife from her.

She was placed in custody for two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of battery.

Roundstone entered a plea of guilty Dec. 12, 2024 to two counts of misdemeanor battery in exchange for the dismissal of the aggravated assault charges. She was sentenced to 180 days for each count of misdemeanor battery, which would run concurrent with each other, in the Sheridan County Detention Center.

Roundstone was credited with 210 days in jail and was released Dec. 12, 2024.
