For the last several years the News Letter Journal has hosted a weekly poll on our website, and we wanted to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to not only answer this week’s poll, but to share their opinion weekly.
Our weekly poll gives readers the opportunity to share their opinion anonymously with not only News Letter Journal readers, but those who matter most.
Last week’s question received quite a bit of interaction as we asked our readers whether they support President Donald Trump or Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. As you can see to the right, the results seem to be split down the middle, although a few more people shared their support for Zelenskyy.
This week we are asking the public to grade the Wyoming Legislature’s 2025 legislative session. We are hoping to provide some insight into what our readers think about this session, and we hope everyone will use the QR code to head on over to newslj.com and express their thoughts in this simple exercise.
For those of you that need a little more convincing that your anonymous opinion means something, the results of our polls have been used in several conversations at the local level.
One specific instance is when the City of Newcastle was discussing chickens in city limits. Our poll supporting chickens was mentioned during discussions supporting the ordinance that allowed chickens.
So, take a moment, scan the code, and let the News Letter Journal and Wyoming legislators know what you think about their work so far this year.
And if you feel even more compelled to share your opinion, we would love to hear your thoughts in the form of a Letter to the Editor. Just make sure you sign the letter and give us a way to reach you to confirm that you are the author!
