Seybert and Leid Honored as Golfers of the Week

LARAMIE, Wyoming (4/3/25) – The Mountain West Conference announced its Golfers of the Week on Thursday. A pair of University of Wyoming student-athletes were honored.
Davis Seybert and Brody Leid were recognized. Seybert won Golfer of the Week and Leid reeled in his fourth Freshman of the Week honor this season.
Seybert enjoyed the best week for Wyoming, tying for 21st at the Cowboy Classic at 213 (-3). He fired a pair of rounds under par, with his best being a 69 (-3), and holed 13 birdies over the course of the two-day tournament.
Leid tied for 62nd at 221 (+5). He buried a dozen birdies and his low round was a 70 (-2).
Wyoming wraps up its regular season at the Tiger Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday.
