Several fires reported in Casper; police suspect arson

CASPER (WNE) — Casper Police officials on Thursday said they suspect arson behind the five fires reported across the city. One of those fires resulted in “significant property damage.”
Authorities said the fires were reported between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.
They were located in the 900 block of South Chestnut Street, the 1600 block of East Yellowstone Highway, the 900 block of North Kimball Street, the 400 block of North McKinley Street and an area of East H and North Lincoln streets.
Authorities are asking anyone with relevant information including security footage to contact the Casper Police Department.
Those with footage or other media evidence can send the information to Public Information Officer Rebekah Ladd at rladd@casperwy.gov.
