WHEATLAND (WNE) — A single vehicle rollover claimed the life of at least one individual near the Interstate-25 and Glendo exit at mile marker 111 on Saturday afternoon, according to a social media release by the Platte County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash reportedly involved a family of five, which included at least three children.

The Platte Co. Record Times was informed all three children and their mother were listed in an unknown condition Sunday afternoon. The family members involved in the incident were admitted into three separate hospitals.

One of the children was on a flight-for-life to Denver, two of the children were flown to Douglas, and the mother was flown to Casper.

There was no other available information prior to publication.

The accident caused I-25 to be closed at the 11 mile marker for more than two hours.
