ROCK SPRINGS (WNE)  — A shooting that occurred at the “Pits” bonfire area near Reliance resulted in a 16-year-old female being charged as an adult for shooting two men involved in an evening brawl with her boyfriend on February 1.

Addisyn Rain Marie Fisher faces two counts of aggravated assault, according to court documents. Each count carries a maximum penalty of up to 10 years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

The preliminary hearing on this case is set for Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 1:30 p.m., in Circuit Court.

Based on an affidavit prepared by Matthew Wharton, Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office detective, authorities were called to the Pits at about 12:20 a.m.

Jason “Austin” Jorgensen Jr, and Billie Majdic, who were at the bonfire, were already transported to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County for emergency care. The two “had been shot by a firearm,” according to the affidavit.

Jorgensen was shot in the neck and Majdic was shot in a spot of his left hand, the affidavit states.

By 12:49 a.m., Wharton made contact with other investigators who had already received statements from those involved in the incident.

Investigators interviewed two females from the bonfire. According to the affidavit, the adult female told investigators Cody Hopper was chasing her, Majdic and a juvenile female in his truck while they were on their way to the bonfire. Hopper allegedly drove toward Majdic’s truck and rammed into it near the rear back bumper, and Jorgensen was upset because Hopper drove into Majdic’s truck.

The female witness additionally told investigators that Hopper, Jorgensen and Majdic got into a fight, and Fisher, who is Hopper’s girlfriend, shot Jorgensen and Majdic.
