Wyoming Refining Company (WRC) is hosting a public meeting to discuss the progress of site characterization and remediation activities at WRC’s Newcastle refinery that have been undertaken as part of WRC’s participation in the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality’s Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP), and pursuant to the Public Participation Plan.
An open house will be held at the WRC Training Center from 5 to 7 p.m. on August 13, 2024. The WRC Training Center is located at the corner of US Highway 16 Truck Route and Fairgrounds Road.
Public documents related to WRC’s
participation in the VRP are available for review at the Weston County Public Library.
