Wyoming welcomes in a student-athlete at four positions

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Nov. 14, 2024) – Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Head Coach Kaylee Prigge has announced the signings of four future student-athletes to National Letters of Intent Wednesday and Thursday to join the Cowgirl volleyball team next fall. Jillian Gregory (Wichita, Kan.), Lily LaFlesch (Gilbert, Ariz.), Sara Quigley (McKinney, Texas) and Anna Williams (Chandler, Ariz.) will all be joining in 2025.

Jillian Gregory | 6-0 | Outside Hitter | Wichita, Kansas | Maize South High School
Gregory, who was named the Most Valuable Player this fall in the Ark Valley Chisolm Trail Division I League, is a four-time all-league honoree. Gregory, who was also named a multi-time All-Wichita/Metro Team member, is a two-time team captain at MSHS. Last season, Gregory led Kansas 5A in kills per set and hitting percentage. Gregory, who is also a decorated track & field student-athlete, has received a Prep Volleyball and IMG 4-star rating.

“Jillian is a dynamic pin attacker with a high ceiling that we're excited to help her reach. Cowgirl fans will love watching Jillian in the Brown and Gold,” said Prigge on Gregory.

Lily LaFlesch | 5-7 | DS/Libero | Gilbert, Ariz. | Perry High School
LaFlesch, who was the 2023 All-CUSD Defensive Player of the Year, is a multiple-time all-conference and all-region team honoree. LaFlesch is also a highly-decorated beach volleyball player and was named a team captain this past season. Last season, LaFlesch helped lead Perry to a 6A State Runner-Up finish.

“Lily has a dog mentality as a defender in the back row and brings a high level of physical and mental consistency to our current libero group. We can't wait to have Lily competing at 7220,” said Prigge.

Sara Quigley | 5-10 | Setter | McKinney, Texas | McKinney Boyd High School
Quigley, who is a three-time First Team All-District 5-6A, was named the 2023 Setter of the Year. She is also a two-time Allen Open All-Tournament Team selection. A multi-time letterwinner at Boyd High School, Quigley is a member of the National Honor Society and is a three-time Academic All-District honoree.

“Sara is a fierce competitor with a high volleyball IQ at the setter position and has experience at the Open level of club volleyball that will suit her well for the transition to DI college volleyball. We are excited to add Sara into our gym and for her to make Laramie her home,” commented Prigge.

Anna Williams | 6-1 | Middle Blocker | Chandler, Arizona | Hamilton High School
Williams, who is a team captain at Hamilton High School, was named the Most Valuable Player and received an All-Region honor throughout her career. Williams is also a Student of the Year candidate at HHS. Williams has been a four-time letterwinner in volleyball at Hamilton.

“Anna is a middle with a blue-collar mentality who works her butt off to touch every ball on the defensive side at the net and to always be an option in transition offensively. This mindset and her physical abilities are going to add to our already talented middle group. She fits perfectly into our Cowgirl Culture, and I know Wyoming Volleyball fans will agree,” said Prigge.
