Pokes in the Pros: Week 9
LARAMIE, Wyoming (11/5/24) – Buffalo kicker Tyler Bass had struggled for the majority of this season coming into Sunday’s game against Miami. The mishaps continued during the game with a missed extra point and another that went off the upright and in.
However, when Bass needed a kick, and it was a long one at that, he got it. He nailed a 61-yard field goal with five seconds remaining to give the Bills a 30-27 victory that improved them to 7-2 on the year.
The win preserved what was a very stout game from quarterback Josh Allen. The former University of Wyoming quarterback was 25-for-39 for 235 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.
