Pokes in the Pros: Week 18

LARAMIE, Wyoming (1/5/25) – With a number of games not carrying a bunch of consequence, many of the former University of Wyoming student-athletes didn’t play or did so sparingly in the final week of the NFL’s regular season. One who didn’t, however, was Carl Granderson, and he showed out for New Orleans in its 19-17 loss at Atlanta.

Granderson racked up a team-high, and personal season-high, 10 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss, one pass defended and three quarterback hits. It was a strong conclusion in what was an up-and-down year for the former Poke. He ended with 57 tackles, six sacks, 11.5 tackles for loss, four passes defended and nine quarterback hits for 6-11 New Orleans.

Below is a list of all the former Wyoming Cowboys and how they performed in Week 18.

Frank Crum, Denver Broncos

Crum participated in the Broncos’ 19-3 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, which locked up the AFC’s No. 1 seed. He played 14 snaps, nine on offense and five on special teams.    

For the season, Crum has played 148 snaps, 65 on offense and 83 on special teams for 14-3 Denver.

The Broncos play the winner of the Pittsburgh/Houston game in the Division Round next weekend.   

Logan Wilson, Dallas Cowboys

Wilson closed out the 2025-26 season strong in the Cowboys’ 34-17 loss at the New York Giants. He recorded seven tackles and one pass defended.  

For the season, Wilson boasted 69 tackles, five passes defended and one fumble recovery between his time in Cincinnati and with 7-9-1 Dallas. 

The Cowboys’ season has come to an end.      

Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars

Wingard didn’t play much in the Jaguars’ 41-7 win over Tennessee, which locked up the AFC South Division. He registered one pass defended.

For the season, Wingard has recorded 84 tackles, three tackles for loss, one interception, one fumble recovery and one quarterback hit for 13-4 Jacksonville.

The Jaguars open the playoffs against Buffalo on Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Wild Card Round.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Allen played one snap in the Bills’ 35-8 win over the New York Jets. 

For the season, Allen is 319-for-460 for 3,668 yards with 25 scores and 10 interceptions. On the ground, he’s carried it 112 times totaling 579 yards with 14 touchdowns for 12-5 Buffalo.

The Bills open the playoffs at Jacksonville on Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Wild Card Round.

Treyton Welch, New Orleans Saints

Welch made his first-career start in the Saints’ 19-17 loss at Atlanta. He played 13 snaps, seven on offense and six on special teams.

For the season, Welch participated in 37 snaps, 16 on offense and 21 on special teams for 6-11 New Orleans.

The Saints’ season has come to an end.

Chad Muma, New England Patriots

Muma didn’t record a stat in the Patriots’ 38-10 win over Miami.  

For the season, Muma has logged nine tackles in eight games played between the Colts and 14-3 New England.

The Patriots open the playoffs by hosting the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night at 6 p.m. in the Wild Card Round.  

Marcus Epps, Philadelphia Eagles

Epps didn’t play due to a concussion in the Eagles’ 24-17 loss to Washington.  

For the season, Epps has recorded 21 tackles and one tackle for loss in 12 games played for 11-6 Philadelphia.

The Eagles open the playoffs by hosting San Francisco on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Wild Card Round.
