LARAMIE, Wyoming (11/26/24) – It was a pretty quiet week in the National Football League for the former University of Wyoming student-athletes. Only two were playing, and six were idle.

Tashaun Gipson, has returned from his suspension, moved teams and is slowly being integrated into San Francisco’s system. He was active this week and played on special teams in the 49ers’ 38-10 loss at Green Bay.

For the season, Gipson has played in three games, mostly on special team, but has yet to record a stat. San Francisco, which now sits at 5-6, travels to Buffalo for Week 12’s Sunday night Football.

Below is a list of the other former Wyoming Cowboys and how they did in Week 12.

Frank Crum, Denver Broncos

Crum didn’t participate in the Broncos’ 28-19 win at Las Vegas. For the season, Crum has played 33 snaps with 24 of those occurring on special teams for 6-5 Denver.

The Broncos host the Browns on Monday Night Football.       

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Allen and the Bills were idle in Week 12. For the season, Allen is 217-for-339 for 2,543 yards with 18 touchdowns and just five picks. On the ground, he’s carried it 67 times for 316 yards and five scores.

Buffalo, which is 9-2, hosts San Fransisco in Week 13.

Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints

Granderson and the Saints were idle in Week 12. For the season, Granderson lays claim to 38 tackles, 4.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, one forced fumble and seven quarterback hits.

New Orleans, which is 4-7, plays host to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13. 

Logan Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals

Wilson and the Bengals were idle in Week 12. For the season, Wilson has piled up 104 tackles – which ranks in a tie for seventh in the league – two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, four quarterback hits and one pass defended.

Cincinnati, which is 4-7, hosts Pittsburgh in Week 13.

Chad Muma, Jacksonville Jaguars

Muma and the Jaguars were idle in Week 12. For the season, Muma has logged 31 tackles.

Jacksonville, which is 2-9, hosts Houston in Week 13.

Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars

Wingard and the Jaguars were idle in Week 12. For the season, Wingard has recorded one tackle.

Jacksonville, which is 2-9, hosts Houston in Week 13.

Treyton Welch, New Orleans Saints

Welch is currently participating on the Saints’ practice squad. He has yet to be elevated this season.

Marcus Epps, Las Vegas Raiders

Epps’ season came to an end in Week 3. He tore his ACL after a 10-tackle effort. Epps finished the season with 19 tackles and one tackle for loss.
