Pokes Open Homestand with Battle Against Utah State on Tuesday

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Feb. 2, 2025) – The Wyoming Cowboys open a two-game homestand on Tuesday hosting Utah State in a 6:30 p.m. start in the Arena-Auditorium. The two teams met in the conference opener in December with the Aggies pulling out the 70-67 victory.

Wyoming head into the contest with an 11-11 overall record and a 4-7 mark in conference play after falling on the road at San Diego State 63-61 on Saturday. The Pokes are shooting 35.7 percent from behind the arc and make eight per game, which ranks third in the MW. In conference games, Wyoming is shooting 38.1 percent and hits 9.2 per game, which both rank second in the conference during conference contests. The Cowboys are led by Obi Agbim at 17.8 points per game for second in the conference. He is shooting 45.8 percent from behind the arc to lead the league and rank fifth in the nation. Jordan Nesbitt added his eighth double-double of the season against Fresno State to rank third in the MW and No. 28 in the nation.
