Newcastle Police Department visits the Weston County Children's Center

Some residents were momentarily concerned when they heard sirens and saw the flashing lights of first responders outside the Weston County Children's Center, but it was just the kids having a little fun! The department held a community outreach event at the facility to allow the community's youngest citizens to meet them and familiarize themselves with some of the equipment used by local law enforcement. Newcastle Police Officer McKinzie Parrish captured a few shots to commemorate the occasion and shared them with the NLJ!
