Second Time Around (Community Service Center) run by the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Newcastle, re-opens their doors after several months of remodeling. Here you can see the new floors, new shelving, fresh paint, and all lit up with new light fixtures in the downstairs area. The store closed down for the remodeling on December 18, 2024. But they were again able to reopen on February 25.
Donnie Andersen said, "We've gone through days and days of sorting and reorganizing. We also want to thank the wonderful volunteers and the community for their generous donations and support."
The store also received a $7,000 grant from the Seventh Day Adventist Church's Community Service Board specifically for the remodel.
