   Newcastle Vision Clinic is celebrating its 74th year serving Newcastle and surrounding communities. We provide quality eye care with a wide variety of fun, fancy, practical, and durable yet affordable eyewear.  
“Our office has one of the largest frame inventories in the Black Hills, offering sunglasses, frames and lenses to fit any face, occupation, and budget,” stated Dr. Carl Cottrell. 
In 1998, Dr. Cottrell took over the long-standing practice. Over the years, Newcastle Vision has continued to update equipment and services to keep pace with the newest technological advancements in ocular screening. We implement state-of-the-art retinal imaging, as well as Ocular Coherence Tomography to check for eye health changes such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, high blood pressure, diabetes, and many other eye and general health issues that cannot be detected without specialized equipment. Our newest advancement in preventive testing is the Maculogix, allowing us to detect the propensity toward macular degeneration up to 5 years before it is clinically evident in the eye itself. Early detection allows for earlier treatment and less risk to your quality of vision. Newcastle Vision Clinic also offers specific formula vitamins for eye health, to help protect your vision for years to come.
