1070 W. Main St., (307) 746-4520

Vernard Durrell Mills began MJT Construction in the 1940s installing power lines, helping to provide electricity to the area. He  then went on to the trucking business leasing trucks to Johnston Fuel Liners hauling jet fuel and liquid petroleum.

In 1981, Vernard partnered with his son Ron and they moved to their present location and became a repair facility for trucks and big rigs. Ron’s son, Chris, came home from the Navy in 1981, and joined the business. He was soon followed by his sons, Tyler and Kyle, who both worked at the business during high school, and returned after Kyle’s service in the National Guard, and Tyler’s service in the Navy.

Former office manager, Nancy McVay, recently retired after 38 years of dedicated service to the business. Chris recently has taken over the business for his parents, and looks forward to providing the same service you’ve come to expect from the longest standing and most recognizable truck repair and fabrication business in Weston County.

Newcastle Equipment is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturday by appointment.
