God sure knew what He was doing when He made moms.

Their strength isn’t loud, but it lasts.
Their sacrifices often go unnoticed, but they matter more than we’ll ever know.
Their love is steady—even on the days it’s worn thin.

The Bible paints a beautiful picture of a godly mother. “Her children rise up and bless her; her husband also, and he praises her…” (Proverbs 31:28)

A godly mother doesn’t need a spotlight—because her life shines without it.
She serves, prays, and teaches in quiet ways. But those quiet ways can have eternal impact.

Paul reminded Timothy of the faith that had been passed down to him:
“For I am mindful of the sincere faith within you, which first dwelled in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice…” (2 Timothy 1:5)
Think about that. Timothy’s ministry started long before he ever preached a word—it started in the heart of his mother and grandmother. That’s the power of a faithful mom.

If you had a mom like that, thank God. If you are a mom like that—keep going. Don’t let this world make you think your faithfulness is small. God sees. And He rewards.

But I also want to say this—Mother’s Day isn’t easy for everyone.

Some folks are missing their moms today.
Some never really had one.
Some moms are grieving a child they’ve lost, and some women are grieving the children they never had.

If that’s you, God sees your heart.
He’s near to the brokenhearted.
Let His love carry you through this day.

And if your mom is still here—call her. Hug her. Tell her what she means to you.
If she’s gone, thank the Lord for the life she lived and the things she poured into you.

Not all moms are perfect—but most gave more than we’ll ever know.

A final thought:
Mothers don’t just shape homes—they shape souls.
They don’t just raise children—they raise future followers of Christ.
They don’t just love—they lead… often by example.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of godly mothers.
Help us never take them for granted.
And may we all leave behind a faith like Eunice—quiet, sincere, and strong enough to carry into the next generation.
