Men’s Golf Finishes Tied for 15th at Ram Masters Invite

FORT COLLINS, Colorado (9/12/25) – The University of Wyoming men’s golf team wrapped up play at the Ram Masters Invite on Friday. The Cowboys finished in a tie for 15th as a team at 903 (+63) in a tournament played at the Fort Collins Country Club.

“We have a group that gets to create their own legacy, and we are at the beginning of a very long journey,” head coach Joe Jensen said. “I saw a lot of good stuff out there today, and I’m encouraged.”

Long Beach State took home the team title at 840 (E). Colorado State was runner-up at 842 (+2) and Utah Tech rounded out the top three at 848 (+8).

Conner Scheich, who was playing as an individual, possessed the best score for the Pokes. He finished with a 75 (+5) for a three-round total of 218 (+8), which put him a tie for 34th.

Kristof Panke boasted the best score on the team Friday. He fired a 71 (+1) and owned a tournament score of 222 (+12) and that tied him for 53rd.  

Brody Leid also tied for 53rd at 222 (+12). He closed with a 74 (+4).

Ryker Lind, Wyoming’s other individual, took 63rd at 225 (+15). He enjoyed a solid final day, carding a 74 (+4).

Kellen Ball finished with an 82 (+12) and a three-round score of 232 (+22) and that tied him for 83rd. Austin Barry wasn’t far behind, placing in a tie for 87th at 233 (+23) following a final day 74 (+4). Brody Knowlton rounded out the scorers, taking 91st at 239 (+29) after a Friday 79 (+9).

Wyoming is back in action next weekend. The Cowboys travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite from Sept. 20-22.
