Meghan Vogt Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

LARAMIE, Wyo. (June 17, 2025) – University of Wyoming Cowgirl golfer Meghan Vogt was named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom on Wednesday.
The Cowgirl senior, who recently finished tied for 32nd in the Mountain West Championships after battling injuries for two years, will return to lead UW head coach Josey Stender's 2025-26 team. She finished 11th in the women's individual field at the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship at Whistling Straits in May. She averaged 77.5 strokes per round and recorded two top-25 finishes last season.
In order to qualify, a student-athlete must be in at least their second year of college and have competed in 70 percent of the competitions or at the conference tournament. In the classroom, they needed to possess a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
She will qualify for Academic All-American consideration. Those honors will be released next month.
