SUNDANCE (WNE) — A Wyoming man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday after failing to negotiate a curve in the road on U.S. 14 near Pine Haven.

The incident took place northwest of Keyhole Reservoir.

According to Wyoming Highway Patrol, 66-year-old Clint Rounds was the only fatality involved in the crash. Rounds was heading north on the highway just before 7:30 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and went off the roadway to the right.

Rounds then crossed a county road and hit a sign, where he was separated from the motorcycle.

Weather and road conditions are not believed to have contributed to the crash. Rounds was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
